What did you learn about your fandom? What creative work does your fandom perform? What further work could you do?

What did I learn from my fandom….. I learned what my fandom actually is. At first I believed it to be a bunch of middle aged women sitting at home obsessing over the sexuality of the two lead characters in Supernatural, fantasizing about what they would do to them if they could kidnapped the Winchester’s for just a night. But go figure the fandom is deeper than that, not much deeper lol but it is deeper. I now know that my fandom is a community that not only watches the show but has ideas that are constantly incorporated into new episodes. THIS MEANS THAT THE COMMUNITY IS ACCEPTED BY THE CREATOR’S AS A FUNCTIONING UNIT! So I learned that not all Fandom’s are seen as copyright infringing jackasses that certain groups of people would like us to believe, music industry etc……

What could I do as further work in my fandom? That’s easy! I could continue to create fan art and fan videos and meme’s to help express my ideas of the show and my opinions on what is going on to help further not only the fandom but the creative work of “Supernatural” as a whole. OVERALL THIS CLASS WAS AMAZINGLY FUN~! I WOULD TOTALLY TAKE IT AGAIN! Now off to stufy for O.D.E.
